·      Green TEAM formation for interested students in grades 3-5 to learn more about environmental issues, support Small Changes :: BIG IMPACT activities and have fun doing it!

·      Support of STEM Curriculum Updates for grades K-5 that align with new state STEM education standards

·      Involvement with local businesses in our community that can help families in their quest to reduce waste and toxicity in their homes

The Environmental Education Committee (EEC) is comprised of teachers, administrators, and parents who are concerned with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) curriculum enhancements, the STEM room, Nature Center and naturalist program, and educating families about environmentally conscious behaviors.  In the past, this organization has helped facilitate the procurement of grant monies available in the area of environmental education. These funds have been used for various enrichment programs and facilities at Schumann and IS.

We welcome your input for the Small Changes :: BIG IMPACT program and are looking for assistance with events throughout the year. No experience needed!  Please contact Carrie Case (), Cindy McDonnell (), or Carrie Miller () if you are interested.
