County Road 112 (Wayzata Boulevard) is closed to through traffic in both directions between County Road 6 and Willow Drive; however, local access to Orono Schools and Wayzata Blvd. businesses will be maintained for westbound traffic only.

Central K-12 campus

The central campus is home to Orono Schumann Elementary, Orono Intermediate School, Orono Middle School, Orono High School and the Orono Activities Center. On the Orono campus you'll find:

  • swimming pool
  • Oliver Grieb Abbott Environmental Learning Center and Orono Rotary Learning Pavilion
  • Morrison Ice Arena
  • Pesonen Stadium
  • multiple tennis courts
  • four campus gymnasiums
  • fields for football, soccer, baseball, softball and other outdoor activities
  • two auditoriums

Discovery Center in Maple Plain

The District also manages the Discovery Center on its auxiliary campus in Maple Plain. The Discovery Center is home to Orono's Early Learning and Preschool programs. The center also hosts a wide variety of Community Education programs and activities for community members all ages.
